Job Description:
Resident Assistants (RAs) are students who assist the department of Housing to provide services to other students and staff related to School Sponsored Housing. RAs plan, market, and implement events sponsored by School Sponsored Housing, conduct weekly community visits with students and responsible for an on call duty rotation (evenings and weekends). RAs are a valuable resource to other students to help with crisis management and peer mediation. They conduct tours for prospective students and complete office hours in the School Sponsored Housing Office. Various trainings are provided that will help to be successful in the job.
Resident Assistants could be assigned to any of our housing locations in order to provide the same service to all students in School Sponsored Housing.

Skills and Requirements
Overall GPA of 2.5 or better
An excitement to helping other students
Willingness to engage other students is a positive manner
Courteous and punctual to required appointments
Knowledge of or willingness to learn San Francisco public transportation
Basic MS Word/Excel skills
Some Graphic Design skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in groups
Must live in School Sponsored Housing
