Job Description
•
The print production process for a weekly newspaper
•
How to effectively communicate with the sales department/clients on creating advertisements
•
Gain knowledge on how to efficiently manage time in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment
•
Create designs that illustrate concepts and communicate information in a compelling way
•
How to meet tight deadlines while handling multiple projects
•
Build soft skills through working in a structured team environment
•
How to collaborate with fellow designers to reach a common objective

Job Requirements
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) on a Mac Platform
• Junior or Senior Graphic Design major that can receive college credit
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant design experience
• Willingness to quickly learn our systems and effectively apply new abilities
• A self-motivated individual who is open to learning and good-humored
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to creating exceptional work
