Clixtr - Web Design Intern

About Us:

Clixtr is a venture funded startup focused on revolutionizing the mobile photo sharing experience. We believe in leveraging location information to create innovative consumer facing mobile solutions. We launched in September 2009 at TechCrunch50, the industry's leading launch conference and won the CES Mobile App Showdown 2010. We are looking for a talented and passionate individual to help establish and execute on the user experience and visual look of our web and mobile presence. The ideal candidate has strong ideas on interactive design, a unique personal style, and the skills and necessary to carry these ideas forward in an appealing way. Most importantly, you should be excited to work with a talented startup team where you contribution can have a large impact. This is a paid full-time summer internship at our Office in San Francisco's SOMA district.

Recent college graduate or current college student preferred
Awareness of current trends in UI art design, interactive design, and competitive software to identify opportunities to enhance the product
Ability to take ownership of project deadlines and deliverables
Advanced artistic and graphic design skills with Adobe Photoshop or equivalent
Experience with web design technologies such as XHTML, CSS, javascript, etc.
Mastery in HTML
Portfolio must consist of at least three websites with diversity in design
Skilled in graphic design, animation, blogging, and social networking sites
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in working with teens and works well with diverse groups of people
Experience in making presentations

If you’ve have iPhone/Mobile platform experience, great. However, if you want to learn, they are willing to teach.
