Job Description:

• Our small lifestyle brand is looking for a summer intern to assist us with the day to day running of a sustainable, locally-based, design-forward small business. We are looking for a hard-working, creative-minded person who can help us over the summer.



• This is an unpaid internship that offers a deeper insight into what it takes to run a small screen-printed apparel, accessories, and home décor business. You would work on-site from our studio in the Mission- our work atmosphere is fun and casual.



• The internship term is 8-12 hours per week beginning mid-July, ideally through the end of August or the first week of September. The schedule would be flexible, working 4-8 hours per day as needed, 1 or 2 days per week.



• We are located 10 minutes walk from 16th St. BART. You will be assisting employees at the studio- all training is provided. Day to day: assist employees with everyday tasks around the studio: organizing shirts for printing (counting/sorting), folding finished shirts in the stockroom, assisting with shipping out wholesale orders and catalogs, painting wood for printing, finishing and assembly of some products. Assist in the printing of tee-shirts and other products (cleaning screens, generally helping out) Run errands around the Mission and Soma: go to the sewing factory, drop offs at boutiques around town, get paint or copies, etc.

Required Skills:

• Self motivated with a strong work ethic.
• A detail oriented person, with strong communication and organization skills.
• Able to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Enrolled in a university degree program (minimum 1 years completed)

Plusses:

• - Interest in design, visual art, fashion.
• - Living in San Francisco.
