Internship Description
- Pulitzer-prize winning political animator looking for animation production assistance with experience working in Flash to help produce 1 to 2-minute animations. Animations are posted on on-line news sites such as SFGate.com, Newsweek, Mother Jones and CBS.com. Custom animations are created for social and environmental groups such as Sierra Club, Amnesty International and Amazon Watch.
- This would be an ideal partnership for students looking for Flash experience and getting insight on managing a self-syndicated animation business.
- The student will be responsible for producing layouts for scenes in Flash, working on characters and backgrounds as well as lip synching and audio. We are looking for a candidate with a good sense of color and basic animation skills. You will be working with line drawings that will be provided along with storyboards.
- Other possible tasks include organization of digital library, website support and iphone app assistance.
- Work to be completed off site with some on-site meetings (San Francisco office). Time requirements will be 8-12 hours per week, preferably on Monday or Tuesday. If working arrangement is a good fit there is potential for an ongoing working relationship. To view style of animation and political nature of work, please refer to
